This project is a musical and visual exploration inspired by the structural and emotional qualities of the Southern Gospel tradition. The composition is built around a simple harmonic framework in F major, emphasizing clarity, balance, and the distinct roles within a quartet-style arrangement, particularly the grounding function of the bass voice. Rather than focusing on explicit religious messaging, the song conveys a universal theme of resilience, inner strength, and hope through its lyrics and musical progression. The narrative follows a journey from struggle and uncertainty toward light and renewal, expressed through a gradual emotional build and a recurring chorus that reinforces the idea that “the dawn is coming.” This concept is further developed into a visual form through a music video, where the music and video expressed the emotion of quartet setting.
